Jackson

Geographer

ARISC Intern

Jackson is a recent graduate of Middlebury College with a BA in geography. During his undergraduate education, he organized his college’s annual TEDx conference and interned for NGOs in Peru, Uganda, and the United States. Jackson arrived in Georgia in 2022, as part of the ARISC Experience The South Caucasus Fellowship. For this project, he examines the intersection of ruderal gardens, vegetation that has grown in decayed or abandoned infrastructure, with the need for urban green space. His interests include urban design, international development, and GIS, and he hopes to get his MA at some point in the future.
